This manuscript preserves a significant portion of the *Vṛttaratnākara* (Jewel-Mine of Meters), a foundational Sanskrit treatise on prosody (chandas) composed by Kedārabhaṭṭa. The text sample encompasses the complete first chapter (*Saṃjñādhyāya*) and the opening of the second, presenting systematic definitions of metrical terms including the six gāṇas, classifications of vṛttas (samam, ardhasamam, viṣamam), and the twenty-six mātrikā meters from gāyatrī to atijagatī.
